The Verizon V400AM-1 DECT 6.0 is a Hearing Enhanced Cordless Phone which features an easy to read jumbo LCD display for the visually impaired, oversized buttons and enhanced extra loud acoustics for the mildly hearing impaired. The V400AM-1 offers piece of mind with one touch SOS emergency dialing; available for programming up to four emergency numbers on the base and handset. When SOS is enabled, user can press the one-touch button and begin an automatic emergency dialing of all emergency numbers (phone runs through all emergency numbers 4 times until the call is answered). If the outbound call is answered, a pre-recorded message will play and ask the person to accept the call. If the SOS button is pressed in error, the process can be cancelled at any time. Ideal for those with a Slight Hearing Impairment.
