The Power Stone is a call-activated AC power controller that allows you to reboot and power up/down off-site computers, phone systems, servers and other devices by phone from a remote location. The Power Stone passively monitors the phone line and does not actively "interface" with any equipment connected to the phone line.
Retrieve critical information from a remote computer that you forgot to leave on. Avoid unnecessary trips to the office to check power status or reboot your equipment. Save energy and limit exposure to power fluctuations, heat-related damage, and hackers by leaving your computers off until you need to power them up. The Power Stone will control power automatically upon detecting the rings from an inbound call or can be set to allow you to manually control power or change settings over the phone.
The feature-rich power controller offers you a wide variety of operating modes to fit your specific application. Control the power to connected equipment "Automatically" by using one of three Automatic Operating Modes. Or control the power "Passively" until you call in and input your security access code to direct functions using touch tone commands.
