The TransMATTer is a pressure-activated transmitter that works with all Silent Call receivers such as the Sidekick Receiver (strobe light), the Good Vibrations Receiver, Crystal Reflections Receiver and the Lamp Lighter Signaler (see related products below).
Normal footstep pressure activates this unique mat. The TransMATTer is for indoor use only and may be concealed under carpets, decorative doormats, and area rugs. When activated, it can notify you that an elderly person or child is getting out of bed or that someone has entered or left a room (i.e. nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, or any noisy business setting). Likewise, it can be used by someone in a wheelchair or who has little mobility in their limbs as a "wheelchair pager." It is powered with a 9-volt battery, included. Size: 24" x 18" x 3/8" (thick)
